Very accommodating to us and the pooch, we hadn’t booked a table but made space for us and didn’t rush us at all. Food was glorious staff were cracking. Ended up spending about 3 hours here. Highly recommend.

Just left this lovely little pub. We had food there and the meals are really large portions & very tasty. The staff are extremely warm and welcoming; they’ll go out of their way to help you. I really fancied a baileys coffee and they actually do decaf coffee (really surprised by this). But they were able to do me a decaf baileys coffee which came out and looked like something you’d buy in a high end restaurant. The prices are more than reasonable. We made another booking before we left as we’re here for a few days away. And was the perfect place for a quick anniversary lunch. Thank you all so much

Great gastro pub, tasty homemade food . Can highly recommend lasagne, cod and chilli . Great atmosphere with very efficient happy staff. We obviously had to have Eton mess , lemon tart and sticky toffee and they were all fab . Thank you for a fab birthday meal .

Wow - the food portions here are massive! You need quite the appetite to clear one’s plates! Fortunately the food is well prepared and tastes great - obviously freshly prepared and cooked. The staff are also awesome - very friendly and looked after our party of five very well. Enjoyed the entire experience 👍
