Oh-So Cosy Surrey Pub
Our iconic local pub (with rooms) stands proudly – overlooking Wallington Green since 1830.
Cosy, candle-lit corners beckon you in for a swift half after a welly-walk, or for a full-blown feast. A warm welcome, cockle-warming winter comfort foods, and an eye-bogglingly enormous selection of drinks (oh, and some seriously good vibes) are always on the menu.
We’re on the border of South London and Surrey, so we’re just half an hour from Central London, Gatwick Airport, and the beautiful Surrey countryside. This means our 23 snuggle-worthy bedrooms are spot on for business-or-pleasure stays, cheeky weekends away, or for a UK staycation in Surrey.
We’re a proper Wallington local pub and love to whack sports on the telly. We show all the footy (live on BT Sport and Sky Sports) across our 8 TV screens – even outside in our heated outside huts. And we’re buzzing for the Six Nations rugby matches too.
Natalie and her team look forward to welcoming you soon.

Our family have had our big pre Christmas gathering / meal here two years in a row now. 17 of us both times! The restaurant staff are so patient, attentive and friendly. We are not an easy bunch to work with haha. The food is so good and even with 17 orders coming out , every plate is hot and scrumptious. Can’t fault the experience and can only apologise for how much racket we make and for my elderly dad who mis orders deserts like their going out of fashion 😂 Big respect! Thanks to the staff and kitchen!!
Such a good venue, great pub, so chrimassy! 🌲 Staff are efficient & friendly and food is delicious. Definitely recommend 👌🏼 Natalie & Dawn are lovely ..made our evening extra special . Thanks
Can’t fault the food at The Dukes Head. Eaten lunch and dinner here a few times and every time the quality is superb and portions are great. Natalie and Neil run a very efficient friendly team and always happy and accommodating. Knocks spots off any other pub serving food in the area. 5*
Great location, good service, very tasty Sunday roast. Pricey, but you know... worth it. We will be back.
Had a lovely meal here. Food was great and service was brilliant too. Prices weren’t too bad and were understandable for the quality and little touches to the meal. It was so hot though. It wasn’t an over-hot day but the restaurant was boiling so perhaps something to be aware of if you want to visit on a very hot day, there were also a lot of very small flies crawling over the windows next to our table. Bar area was nice, drinks were good and toilets clean and pleasant
