Recommended by staff at the local caravan park, the White Swan did not disappoint. Portions were huge and the food was well prepared and delicious. I walked away like an overfed Labrador. Staff were quick to serve and very efficient. Will be heading there again ASAP.

Food is out of this world.....everytime a go the food is always made from scratch...potions are really big. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is what you want wen you go to a bar for food or drink. The owner is a sound bloke

Bit of a disaster tonight. Came for a family meal and chose from the specials board. It was initially served with wraps until I pointed out it was advertised with rice. When the rice did come it was awful… and I mean inedible. It was more like mashed potato. My order was then kindly changed to a cheese burger and fries. The chips were not cooked through and raw and the bun was solid (as if it hadn’t quite been defrosted properly) I am surprised as I saw other burgers coming out of the kitchen with side salads and all nicely presented. Can only think that the kitchen was overstretched… on a positive the servers were very attentive and polite.

Recommended by friends and wasn’t disappointed. Really friendly team there and great atmosphere. Food was delicious as well though difficult to choose from the extensive veggie options! Will definitely be going back!

Excellent village pub, friendly staff, beer and food tasty and not overly expensive, great beer garden at the back in the summer, they run pub quizzes and even have a proper ice cream stand. What more could you want?! Highly recommended.
