It’s the first pub you come across from the bus station or even if your waiting for a bus it’s very handy to just call in or meeting place has I have been calling in over the past 20 years I just find it pretty ideal also with very reasonable prices plus welcoming staff oh the beer garden is a sun trap plus it’s very well kept plus they have had a some work done plus it also has its old features like the historic windows but to me this place his great for locals plus people visiting the local area .

Good atmosphere if you like music blasting out. Plenty of sport on with the number of tvs. Don't think it suitable if you just want a quiet drink and conversation with friends especially on a Saturday night
