Smart, low ceilinged, opened out pub with 2 lounge areas and a pool room. Children's play area in garden. Quiz and other games every Sunday evening with free supper, Friday/Saturday disco/karaoke unless a band is on. History of the pub since 1838 is recorded on a series of framed documents on the wall alongside sporting memorabilia. Functions catered for in middle room which can be curtained off.

The landlord was so accommodating and just so happy to help. The atmosphere is great in there and it hasn't changed..
