Welcome to the Red Lion pub in Poole, Dorset! Only a 10-minute walk from Cobb’s Quay Marina, with Hamworthy Park only a three-minute drive, you can get wild with some water sports or get cosy with your partner by Lake Pier. Retreat to us after for some pub food and we’ll be happy to serve up some crafted burgers, sizzling steaks, and luscious pies. We even have non-gluten options and an extensive kids menu so there’s plenty to choose from. After the stomachs are lined, treat yourself to our fully-stocked bar, where we dish out ice-cold pints, spirits, cask ales, and wines. With disabled facilities, Wi-Fi, live sports and space for the dogs, you can be sure we’ve got everything covered - just save some energy for our live in-house music!.

A lovely afternoon meal with family, the refurbishment is great and new manager friendly and helpful. Great service at the bar and in the restaurant. Definitely will be returning regularly.

5 of us got food here last Sunday for a roast. Very lovely food for very good prices. Staff were all friendly. And the pub looks amazing since the refurbishment. Will definitely be returning again!

Went to the recently renovated Red Lion Hamworthy today. We decided to have there all day breakfasts. The meals were reall tasty and filling, cooked perfectly, and to our surprise the price was 2 for 11.99. What a deal! The staff were warm and friendly. Will be going again very soon xxx

Came for lunch on a Monday afternoon, found the staff to be exceptionally friendly especially Jodie who served us, food was average and kind of what you expect for this kind of place none the less still quite enjoyable and filled a hole. Good value also. Plenty of parking free round the back. We came with the dogs and they were more than welcome inside or out. We decided to sit outside and honestly this is where it felt let down really the outside certainly wasn't the cleanest with stuff all over the benches and rubbish everywhere. I'm not saying it put us off as inside did look clean especially the toilets which is always important but we wanted to be out. Otherwise it felt like the clientele inside was locals or regulars at that. Overall though the staff really were lovely and the food enjoyable enough so would use again if in the area.
