What a fab way to spend Boxing Day afternoon! Not generally my fave pub in town, but the love music is generally pretty good, and regular!

This pub is our local while we are camping nearby. Would have rated 5 stars but our last night was spoilt for me with a group of swearing badly. The food the service and the friendly atmosphere is 2nd to none Just spoilt on our last night by this family. Which I think is unnecessary

This is a proper small town pub with a good selection of beers, including local micro brewery ales. Good honest pub grub at reasonable prices. Beer garden with access directly off town car park. A refreshing change from the overpriced tourist-orientated pubs that proliferate the area. Recommended.

We stopped off for lunch and to enjoy a proper English Sunday Roast dinner at a good old English pub. I had the nut roast and my partner the roast beef. Good food cooked just the way you got it when you were growing up from the best family cook, good local beer. Excellent Yorkshire puddings. The lass behind the bar is friendly and helpful. Quite a few regulars and there is a real family feel to the place. Good carpark out the back but you do have to pay for parking. Wareham is easy to walk around and this pub is central. Lovely town.

We booked a table for 5 The menu was quite basic but didn't even include pub basics like fish and chips or pie. My scampi was "empty" chips were cold, only 1 happy eater out of 5. We had to clear our own table because they forgot... didn't even come and ask us if we wanted dessert or coffees....
