This place has really gone down hill! We used to enjoy coming here for food but the last couple of times it has been disappointing. Came Friday evening for a family meal of four and we weren’t impressed. Signs are now up on the wall telling you to ‘get your sauces and cutlery’ - must be trying to save money on staff!! I tried to order veggie nuggets in a baguette (instead of fishless ones) but it was too much of a problem apparently so I wasn’t allowed. I ordered veggie nuggets seperately and when they came they were burnt and rock hard so sent them back. No apology from the staff member. I ordered bread to make my own sandwich and it was stale! You can’t order a baguette seperate either apparently 🙄. All our meals were just about edible, all well done and deep fried. Nobody came to ask us if our meal was ok either which they used to. We won’t be back in a hurry. The Newton is way better!

Two of us said 5/10 and two said 6/10 but all four of us said the word 'average'. Reasonable waiting time for standard food that isn't amazing but isn't bad either. I did get gravy that was a bit too spicy for my liking but it was in a separate pot that I just didn't use

Mountains of food for 3. Steak and gammon cooked properly not cremated . Served by 2 girls. Both where attentive and looked after us.
