The award winning Shortlands Tavern is Bromley's best kept secret, with its extensive beer garden decorated with vintage finds and lush greenery, you can find it located just a stones throw from Shortlands railway station.
We pride ourselves in offering special events throughout the year alongside regular nights of free live music, general knowledge quizzes, a Folk night, an open mic night, bingo and more! We have a function room upstairs that can be privately hired as well as four darts boards on the nights when the room is not being used.
So come on down and enjoy one of our continental lagers, one or two of our gins or ever changing ale selection, accompanied by freshly-made meals carefully crafted with locally sourced ingredients. Can't believe I've lived nearby for 5 years and never tried this place! Fantastic pub, old school vibe inside, very cosy. Huge pub garden with a mix of covers, and a pizza oven station outside, they also have blankets available inside which is a nice touch. Lunch wraps were very generous and come with lots of chips.

Went there Monday early evening. Best place for a delicious pizza! Second one was for free! They offer all of them as calzone! Service at the bar was prompt. Plenty of friendly staff to look after all guests coming for the quiz! Look for Danny got the right attitude and who you can a laugh with! Will be back next and every Monday!!

Really enjoyable visit tonight, service was quick and prompt. Food was delicious I do highly recommend a visit if your in the area. The pub however lacked a very welcoming atmosphere but that's a very minor thing. Happy with my visit ❤️

Incredible venue with great food and drink! I had the pleasure of being shown around the new renovation upstairs for events. Absolutely top class finish, I can’t recommend this anymore. Well worth the visit!

Addition to previous review when i only had a pint. Updated to 5 stars! Great selection of beers once again. Casks were lovely. Finally got around to eating here. Five of us ate and the food was excellent. Pork belly was fabulous! My son had pizza which he really enjoyed. Only one issue was with my wifes meal(shame as it was her birthday!). However, the manager was extremely understanding and receptive and offered her a complimentary drink and dessert to make up for it. Really appreciated. Great customer service! Will definitely eat here again. Recommended.

Food & drink
Enjoy one of our continental lagers or ever changing ale selection, accompanied by our kitchen take-over, Afuego with their Latin-inspired tacos, burgers, wings and sides as well as a chefs bbq platter in the Summer and Sunday roasts in the Winter. We have a pizza oven in our beer garden offering sourdough pizzas throughout the year with a monthly special as well as dessert pizzas! Afuego is not here on a Monday, but our pizza oven is fired up seven days a week and every Monday (apart from Bank Holidays) get 2-4-1 on our sourdough pizzas from 5pm-9pm.
