Absolutely brilliant pub, really good atmosphere with a great selection of drinks. Food looks good but never eaten here so can't comment on it. The range of entertainment they have is first class and definitely worth a visit.

I go twice a month with my husband and friends to this pub as Salvo’s pizza is very good and the staff is friendly. However is the second time I get a full panic attack thanks to 2 large dogs being brought in the pub. Last night there were 2 ( Newfoundland like giant dogs) just steps away from me. I’m scared of dogs , I don’t mind small ones but this large dogs shouldn’t be brought in a busy pub with seating so close to each other. Took me a while to calm down and enjoy my pizza. Would be nice if Management puts in place a rule for large dogs especially on busy nights. Or maybe just allow them in the garden area.

The room at the Pelton are very beautiful, as is the decor in the pub area. The prices are very reasonable for Greenwich. The musicians at the last sunday of the month are incredible. The pizza is absolutely delicious. It can be very busy in terms of available tables so try to book in advance or be prepared to stand. This pub is a gem.

I absolutely love the Pelton Arms. Proper lovely friendly pub. Plus where else can you show up and the place is full of Norwegians singing sea shanties? So good.

Great local pub. Very lovely garden, lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Good range of beers. Lovely mixed crowd, very welcoming and chill atmosphere. Friendly efficient service. Good range of beers. Live music nights. All round very good real pub to go to. Also do pizza here which is good.

Food & drink
Enjoy one of our ever-changing ale selection, continental lagers or a range of wines, accompanied by our kitchen take-over, Afuego with their Latin-inspired tacos, burgers, wings and sides as well as a chefs bbq platter in the Summer and Sunday roasts in the Winter. Wandercrust London pizzas are here too with their traditional Neapolitan pizzas cooked to perfection, so the end result is a malleable pizza that's light and fluffy on the inside and slightly charred on the outside. Look out for their monthly specials as well as dessert pizzas and the best Tiramisu known to man! Afuego are not here on a Monday, but our pizza oven is fired up seven days a week and every Monday (apart from Bank Holidays) get 2-4-1 on our sourdough pizzas from 6pm-9.30pm. Eat in only! Our food serving times incorporate both of the food offerings so please check individual times for Afuego Burger and Wandercrust pizza.

Accommodation
This charming four bedroom accommodation is situated on the first floor above a traditional London pub in a residential part of historic Greenwich (a World Heritage Site). The Pelton Arms appeared in Rock and Chips, the prequel to Only Fools and Horses, where it became the “Nag’s Head”, and still bears the signage. The Pelton Arms is a friendly local pub serving real ale and great British food.
The property is a 10 minute walk from Maze Hill Mainline and DLR train stations with easy links to both the City and central London. Direct trains are available to London Bridge, Waterloo, Charing Cross, Cannon Street and Canary Wharf. Greenwich to London Bridge is a 10 minute journey. The 02 is a short bus/taxi ride away or a 25 minute walk.
The Pelton Arms is just a short walk from the centre of Greenwich. Local attractions include Greenwich Royal Park, the Royal Observatory, the Cutty Sark and the National Maritime Museum.
There is a communal area with a sofa and facilities to make tea and coffee. Eclectic decor is provided in keeping with the traditional ambience. The four bedrooms share one communal shower room, with toiletries provided, and two separate toilets. Breakfast is not included, but there are lots of lovely cafés very near to the pub.
Please note that every Friday night and Saturday night we have live music from 9pm-11pm so it will be noisy on band nights. We also have a late licence on these nights.
The well proportioned rooms are traditional in design with carefully chosen furniture and accessories. The four bedrooms are made up of one kingsize bedrooms, two double bedrooms and one twin room.
This accommodation is ideal for business executives or people visiting the O2. There are several excellent restaurants within walking distance. Free Wi-Fi is provided.
