About us

A busy high street local and former coaching inn in the centre of this small market town. The Bell has five distinct areas including a small back room that can be used for meetings. There are chairs and tables on the south facing pavement area outside for sunny days together with a rear garden, both smoking areas. Live music, sports events and regular Thursday quiz nights are all part of the social calendar. Check the pub's facebook page for details. The guest beers come from near and far include beers from the nearby Izaak Walton Brewery, Lymestones and Titanic. The pub holds its own beer festival and sponsors Eccleshal Rugby Club.

A lovely friendly pub. Nice beer and serves very nice simple snacks, pork pies, scotch eggs and sandwiches, all really nice quality.

I’ve not been in the bell for a long long time, but I’m having visited the other day. I will make sure that I’m a regular visitor, really enjoyed the beer, and the atmosphere was brilliant, a real change around for this place👍

Great pub been going there on and off for years. However, One or 2 of the customers should get their mouths washed out - Unfortunately, the Landlord didn't say anything so wont be visiting again for awhile to listen to that.
