About us

The Kings Arms dates back to the mid 1500's and was once a prominent coaching Inn, the stables in the original part of the building, can still be seen today.
Refurbished in 2017 after having been left to languish over many years the Kings is now in private hands and once again at the centre of the Eccleshall community. Serving proper and fresh food and an enticing range of Ales, a plethora of Gins, Malts and other fine spirits, the Kings has something to offer everyone.

Called in for food and drinks only and didn't stay over. I had food envy in every corner of the room, generous food portions and smelt amazing. I went with the Peppercorn Burger and forgot I can't actually dislocate my jaw to fit it in. Tasted amazing and salad so fresh. Highly recommended and super friendly bar staff.

We ate lunch here and it was wonderful. Perfectly cooked and well presented. Hadn't been here for quite a while,but will definitely be back. Great menu..

I love this place. Quaint and cosy. Rooms are unique and the shower is superb. Breakfast is the best in the area. My colleagues come and join me for breakfast here from their premier inn or little George. Beer is good and always has a good atmosphere.

On a visit to Eccleshall on a Monday when lots of things were shut the kings arms was a welcome open and delicious oasis. We had a lunch which was filling and delicious and the staff were very friendly. Craft beers available.
