We are on the cycle route through Carlton, so make sure you plan in a stop at the pub for lunch or dinner!

We provide home-made food but with a twist of Teesside! Visit our restaurant to find out what it’s all about! We have our famous Sunday lunch every Sunday from 12-4pm with 1 course for £11.95, 2 courses for £14.95 or go all out for 3 courses for £17.95! While you’re there you can try out all of our cask ales and fine wines in our Tap Room.

If you’re looking for sports – look no further… we have Sky Sports, so you’ll never miss a game.

On the last Sunday of every month, we have our Smiths Arms Quiz Night – Traditional Quiz.

Booked a table for 18, meals where pre ordered via email, responces where quick and all questions answered. The place is lovely modern/country decor. As we had children we asked for their meals to be served ASAP, which the staff under stood and did. Once we all arrived the main meals where served quickly, so food was hot, fresh and lovely. Will definitely be visiting again. **The menu on the website is not correct, recommend contacting the pub & they will send you the correct menu**

2 course meal. Potato skins, soup of the day & bun Steak & ale pie veg & mash Small parmo, chips, salad & garlic sauce 😋 Good food Staff friendly & polite Enjoyed meal

Nice pub. We popped in for a quiet drink on a Wednesday evening. The drinks were lovely. Definitely the nicest pint of coors I've had. We sat outside for our first then in the restaurant side on our own as the bar area was full. The place was tidy, clean and welcoming.

A lovely welcome from the Staff. The pub is cosy & well furnished. 5 adults & a toddler ate lunch here. All our meals were delicious. The portions were large but Staff very happy to box stuff up to take home. There is a nice outside seating area for the warmer weather.
