The metal bridge Inn was recommended to us as a Motorhome stopover on our way to Scotland and we were pleased we took the advice. We received excellent hospitality at the Inn , very friendly and the food was delicious. Lamb curry was very tasty and generous, yummy. A good home cooking venue rather than a gastro pub, just what was needed. The Aire facilities are good as well, nice clean loos 24/7 all waste facilities etc .

Can't fault anything. I'm a truck driver and was going to park on the road but after having a chat with the extremely friendly staff they let me in the car park. Stopped in for a pint and looking at the menu I had to get some food. All hearty traditional pub food with plenty of choice. I went with the pie and chips. Considering the price it was lovely. Beef wasn't chewy, chips were as good as any other chips. They aren't the greasy crunchy ones I like but thats personal preference. Service overall was excellent. Food was very quick to arrive. Staff not afraid to smile and be polite u like the last restaurant I visited. Lovely view of the river inside and outside, very peaceful. 5 stars all round. I didn't use a room however the facilities offered are Brill. Toilet available to use all night incase nature calls. Not need for a bottle for me haha! Couldn't be happier and couldn't reccomend it more.

Great service. Busy on a Weds night and the staff were running all over, but helpful and smiling. Thought my mac n cheese was really good. Recommend this pub.

A very convenient stop off when traveling to and from Scotland. Have stayed here for several years. Good atmosphere, nice little Inn. Very friendly, and helpful staff. Lovely food; good Menu choice, good value, perfectly cooked and presented. Will definitely return.

Very welcoming and accommodating staff. Pleasant surroundings and a varied menu. We had the two courses for £10 menu and were very pleased with the taste and quality. I would definitely recommend and hope to return for a meal from the main menu. Thank you 🙂
