Situated in the beautiful surroundings of the Royal Quays Marina, The Lock can be found in Albert Edward Dock, a fantastic location with stunning views.
We serve a variety of stone baked pizzas, flame-grilled dishes and fish and chips. Every morning we serve a Full English Breakfast, as well as smaller plates.
Our multiple outside areas are dog-friendly, with water bowls scattered about to keep your furry friends hydrated!
Free parking is also available for our customers. To activate the 4 hours free parking, simply enter your vehicle registration on the screen at the entrance of the restaurant.

Wonderful place! Love the decoration and how well the staff are trained! Excellent customer service. Lovely presentation of the food and the quality was great. We were very lucky to pop in for a delicious bunch and we took home two yummy muffins for the journey home. I couldn’t finished my avocado toast so I took it for the journey. Well done for using recycled material on the take away containers

We had Sunday lunch, the veg was really tasty but the meat was overcooked, tough and tasted gamey. They also substituted ingredients in the meals without telling us and missed some items out totally. The person who served us was really good though, we complained about my mum's meal being inedible and this was removed from the bill immediately, he also gave her a free dessert and couldn't apologise enough.

Always a pleasure to come here. The staff were friendly and welcoming, despite the place being rammed. We sat outside as it was fully booked but it gave us the opportunity to take in the great views whilst enjoying a crisp glass of wine and some food. Will continue to return here.

Lovely cafe/bar with amazing marina views. Very attentive and welcoming staff. We went for a coffee and cake only and they were great- and we really enjoyed marina views! Looking forward to coming back on some sunny afternoon to enjoy a drink on the terrace.

Food is served daily from 9am, with breakfast served until 11:30 and lunch from 12:00.
We serve a variety of dishes including traditional fish and chips and stone baked pizzas straight from our own brick pizza oven. A Children's menu is also available.
Our bar stocks an extensive range of drinks. Including coffees, hot chocolate, teas, lagers, cocktails, various flavoured ciders, wines, spirits and soft drinks too.
