We are a dog friendly pub, although dogs are not allowed in the restaurant ~ but you and your dog are more than welcome to dine or drink with us in the bar/lounge area of the pub. Please email us so that we can reserve a table for you and your best friend...PLEASE NOTE, NOW IN BUSIER TIMES WE CAN ONLY RESERVE EARLY TABLES FOR OWNERS WITH DOGS. 6pm IS THE LATEST AS IT CAN OFTEN RESULT IN NOWHERE FOR BAR CUSTOMERS TO SIT IF TABLES ARE BOOKED OUT LATER ON. ALSO, IF YOU BOOK A TABLE & THEN CANNOT MAKE IT HERE, PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING AND CONTACT US SO WE CAN LET OTHER CUSTOMERS HAVE IT. WE HAVE TURNED PEOPLE AWAY ONLY FOR BOOKINGS TO NOT TURN UP

Please try and book in advance... We only book hourly slots to allow us to get best use from tables. If you haven’t booked, we cannot guarantee you to dine, as in busy periods it’s unfair on people who have booked to have their slot pushed back.

We called in here as Reviews were great . Didn't disappoint at all, Sunday lunch absolutely lovely. Desserts were not as good, unfortunately. Overall, it was great food and I will definitely call again.

We ate here twice, owners and staff all very welcoming, lovely atmosphere and a mix of holidaymakers (like us) &locals. Food was fantastic and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back next year. We were camping so can't rate the accommodation.

Absolutely beautiful food and the chef made a toddler sized portion of the chicken dinner for my little boy, colouring books provided for the kids. Fantastic friendly service and our meals came so quickly. Gorgeous!!

Everybody else in my group had pizza, but I had the gammon! Huge portions, and absolutely gorgeous food. Coming from the Midlands I've noticed the food and portions are brilliant all around this neck of the woods. Great service and friendly people.

We hadn't booked a table Friday when we arrived. But a kind lady offered us her table when she'd finished her meal. We waited at the bar drinking and getting to know the landlord. He and landlady were very helpful and a good laugh too. We had a gorgeous meal Friday and a absolutely beautiful Sunday lunch. The best meals we'd eaten all the weekend by far. Even our dog had some food too. A very welcoming place and a lovely couple. Thankyou we will be back ❤️

Daily specials are displayed and created especially to enhance the menu giving variety to our regular diners.
Please be aware our Dinner Menu is served Wednesday, Thursday Friday & Saturday, on Tuesdays we only serve our Pizza & Pasta Menu.
