He is currently the resident DJ at a number of venues in London. He specialises in commercial hits, party favourites, Bollywood, House, Hip-Hop, Garage, RnB, Bhangra and classics. He is considered to be the best Bollywood DJ in the UK as announced on BBC Radio 2014 & has been the resident Friday night DJ on the most heard Asian Radio Show outside India – ‘The Big Desi Show’ with Bobby Friction on BBC Asian Network for over 4 years. He has performed with artists including Kelly Rowland, Jay Sean, Raghav, Panjabi MC, Dr. Zeus, RDB, Juggy D, Lisa Mafia, Imran Khan, Nihal, H-Dhami, Rishi Rich, DJ Jamie Duggan and many more.

Leon La Rosa

(expired). Late DJs. Leon La Rosa first learned to play records when he was 15 years old. A love of the early 90s UK rave scene led Leon to a slightly slower tempo and to the house music being imported from America at the time. “The first time I saw a set of 1210’s I thought they were amazing. I couldn’t believe that the tiny needle in the grove could produce this big, rich sound. I still can’t sometimes!” House music has been a part of Leon’s life for over thirty years and he is still deeply fascinated by the scene. He loves the music, the history, the culture, and the many characters in it. He says, “There is more than 40 years of history in our scene and I love to champion the people and the stories that made house music what it is today.” Leon’s influences are the legends of the scene and include Masters at Work, Roger Sanchez, Tony Humphries, Kevin Yost, Francis Grasso, Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, Mark Farina, Phil Weeks, Junior Sanchez, Demuir and many more. His career has been carefully crafted over time with the focus on quality, not quantity. He has played at many of London’s best known venues including, Ministry of Sound (where he plays regularly) Egg, Boxpark and The Lower Third. He has been billed alongside Danny Tenaglia, Mutiny, Smokin Jo, Mood II Swing, Disciples, Robin Schultz, Mason, KSHMR and Sister Bliss. In 2019 Leon took his first step into broadcasting and has been hooked ever since. You can hear his weekly show on Select Radio (www.selectradioapp.com), one of the UKs biggest and best loved independent dance music stations. In 2024 Leon is also moving into speaking, joining one of the panels at this years’ prestigious Brighton Music Conference to share his extensive experience in the game. There’s plenty more to look forward to from this DJ in the years to come.

Leon La Rosa

(expired). ABO Charing Cross - Late DJs. Leon La Rosa first learned to play records when he was 15 years old. A love of the early 90s UK rave scene led Leon to a slightly slower tempo and to the house music being imported from America at the time. “The first time I saw a set of 1210’s I thought they were amazing. I couldn’t believe that the tiny needle in the grove could produce this big, rich sound. I still can’t sometimes!” House music has been a part of Leon’s life for over thirty years and he is still deeply fascinated by the scene. He loves the music, the history, the culture, and the many characters in it. He says, “There is more than 40 years of history in our scene and I love to champion the people and the stories that made house music what it is today.” Leon’s influences are the legends of the scene and include Masters at Work, Roger Sanchez, Tony Humphries, Kevin Yost, Francis Grasso, Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, Mark Farina, Phil Weeks, Junior Sanchez, Demuir and many more. His career has been carefully crafted over time with the focus on quality, not quantity. He has played at many of London’s best known venues including, Ministry of Sound (where he plays regularly) Egg, Boxpark and The Lower Third. He has been billed alongside Danny Tenaglia, Mutiny, Smokin Jo, Mood II Swing, Disciples, Robin Schultz, Mason, KSHMR and Sister Bliss. In 2019 Leon took his first step into broadcasting and has been hooked ever since. You can hear his weekly show on Select Radio (www.selectradioapp.com), one of the UKs biggest and best loved independent dance music stations. In 2024 Leon is also moving into speaking, joining one of the panels at this years’ prestigious Brighton Music Conference to share his extensive experience in the game. There’s plenty more to look forward to from this DJ in the years to come.
